Dean Soots Director of Marketing
Dean joined Golden Dome Productions in 1985. He oversees the sales/marketing staff which consists of two marketing executives and a marketing assistant. Dean has been instrumental in the development and growth of the various video, film, multimedia and internet services provided by Golden Dome Productions.
Dean brings his creative production background, as producer/director, scriptwriter and cinematographer, to assist clients in creating effective communication tools that accomplish their specific goals and objectives.
Dean graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism & Creative Writing and minors in Commercial Art and Radio, Television & Film. Prior to Golden Dome he served as Creative Services Director at ABC affiliate WSJV and Marketing Director at SCL Communications specializing in multi-image presentations for national meetings.
Jim Ford Marketing Executive
Jim has over twenty years experience in video. He has worked for television stations and production houses as an editor, director and cameraman. He has also worked for all the major networks as a freelancer in sports productions. In 1989, Jim moved from video production to sales for the world's largest broadcast equipment dealer. In 1994, he joined Golden Dome Productions Marketing Department.
Peter Hedlin Regional Marketing Executive
Peter brings 20 years of experience in sales and marketing of business communication programs and services to Golden Dome. This includes 2 years at MCI Telecommunications, where he sold industrial database application, multimedia presentations, internet and intranet production and hosting, and MCI Telecom Services. Peter also spent 2 years at AGS&R Communications, doing sales of video production services, production and staging of
national sales meetings, multimedia production services, and electronic prepress applications and services. He is currently responsible for all Golden Dome accounts in the Chicago Region.
Crystal Johnson Marketing Coordinator
Crystal has over thirteen years in broadcast industry management, marketing, and performance, as well as
theatrical producing and directing. Her interest in computers, marketing, and multimedia began with her own research company, Florida Media Research. Crystal joined Golden Dome in 1994, moving from Wausau, Wisconsin where she co-hosted a radio morning show and assisted Wausau Youth Channel 10 on public access television. In addition to marketing, she produces and edits video/audio projects and handles sports footage requests for the University of Notre Dame.
